Job Offer: Researcher in Neuroimaging
About the Project: We are leading an innovative research project focusing on the interplay between mild behavioral impairment, cognitive reserve, and cognitive decline. Our study leverages advanced neuroimaging techniques to understand the structural and functional changes in the brain associated with these conditions, using data from the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) cohort. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated researcher with expertise in neuroimaging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural and functional MRI analysis using the ADNI cohort data.
- Develop and apply advanced neuroimaging analysis techniques and pipelines.
- Interpret neuroimaging data to explore the neural correlates of MBI, cognitive reserve, and cognitive decline.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
- Prepare research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals and present at scientific conferences.
- Contribute to the preparation of grant applications and progress reports.
What we expect:
- Master´s degree or PhD in Neuroscience, Psychology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on neuroimaging.
- Experience with structural and functional MRI analysis, use of neuroimaging software and tools (e.g., SPM, FSL, Freesurfer, AFNI, CONN).
- Familiarity with the ADNI dataset is desirable.
- Strong programming, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Scientific publications in neuroimaging and related fields.
