Postdoc position – chemical preparations of materials for photovoltaic utilization

We are looking for experienced and motivated postdoctoral scholar that will work on chemical preparations of materials for photovoltaic utilization within the chemistry group of the newly established Centre of Advanced Photovoltaics (CAP) at the Czech Technical University in Prague. Main objective of the work, in the general area of surface chemistry, will be the functionalization of crystalline silicon by the covalent attachment of organic molecules. Successful candidate must have a PhD in organic chemistry or a closely related discipline. Previous experience with air-sensitive organic syntheses, materials characterisation and solid state chemistry is desirable. Deep knowledge of NMR, MS, IR and Raman spectroscopy as well as separation techniques is necessary. Proven record of relevant scientific papers in peer-reviewed journals listed in WoS is required.

This position will be for a period of maximum 3 years.
