The Leukocyte Motility Lab of the First Faculty of Medicine, Charles University located in BIOCEV seeks postdoctoral fellow to join our newly established research team.
Immunity depends on leukocyte ability to rapidly migrate within lymphoid organs and peripheral tissues. We will work at the interface between cell biology and immunology and study how leukocytes recognize various environmental cues and interpret them in their migratory behaviour. We will use in vitro live cell imaging to understand cell signalling and cytoskeletal dynamics and intravital imaging to explore leukocyte migration in physiological context. We are looking for dedicated candidates with biological, medical, biophysical or other relevant background with extensive experience and independence in molecular and cell biology. Previous experience in microscopy and image analysis is appreciated but not a prerequisite.
We offer an opportunity to work in a newly established research group within the BIOCEV institute with its exceptional core facilities and equipment.
